NLVintage has been a specialist on vintage band merchandise since 2016. The items sold on the website are usually from the 1980's or 1990's, which means that sometimes there are only a few of them still in existence.
The items are all in varying conditions, ranging from deadstock (never used) to trashed (holes, stains, tears). We sometimes repair holes or tears, if we find this necessary before selling. This is all stated in the description of the individual item. We try our best to give the most accurate description as possible.

Sourcing vintage items is very time consuming, meaning it usually takes a lot of effort for any buyer. From strolling many thrift stores, to contacting collectors and private sellers all over the world, not even mentioning the varying shipping costs, import taxes and months of waiting for a shipment to arrive. We always ship out with a track & trace and upon arrival a signature is required, making the delivery process safer. Furthermore, all shipments are done carbon-neutral to minimize the impact on the environment. In case of a lost or damaged item, we guarantee a full refund including the shipping costs.

The world faces an ever-growing crisis with pollution, climate change and inequality. Buying vintage is better for the environment, since the products already exist in their final form and therefore require no more pollution, labour, assembly or unnecessary transport. This saves CO-2 emissions, as well as preventing the waste of still perfectly wearable clothing.
Most modern-day clothing is produced in factories with bad working circumstances in low-income countries like Bangladesh, Indonesia and Pakistan. These items are usually of low-quality, and bad for the environment (due to pollution) as well as the local inhabitants in those countries. Vintage items from before 2005 were mostly produced in regions like North America, Europe and Australia, and made with higher quality fabrics and details. Besides that, underpaid labour with bad circumstances did not occur in these regions so you can wear your vintage item with peace of mind.

Every item we sell has a unique history and character, you simply cannot find in modern-day reprints. Some of the items we sell are extremely hard to come by, and desired amongst collectors, fans and vintage-heads all over the world. Why one vintage item can sell for €30, and another for €300+ is hard to explain, but factors like condition, age, desirability and rarity play a key role in determining a price.
In the last decade, prices for vintage items have skyrocketed due to popularization in the current fashion culture. This trend is set to continue for many years to come, as durability, environmentalism and recycling are becoming even more prominent. The depreciation of vintage items is therefore minimal, and is more likely to turn into a profitable investment as vintage items become scarcer over the years since they are no longer produced.

If possible, with an aiming price and at least one photo of the item(s) in a follow-up e-mail. We will always send you a free and fair quote for your items.
As we are located in The Netherlands, we prefer to buy from sellers within the European Union due to import taxes. Please keep in mind that with our overhead costs, profit margins and business taxes we are usually not able to offer as much as private buyers. However, we often buy multiple items at once and guarantee a smooth selling process for you. We also kindly assist you in determining a price for your personal vintage item(s) if you do not want to sell.
